About GOR Inc.

Gaskets, O-Rings, and Rubber Inc. was started in the year 2005 by Les and Randy Wood. Les began his career with gaskets by starting Gardico in Seattle, but sold the company in the 1980’s and moved to Montana. After moving to Montana, Les bought and maintained a pizza company in the town of Plains for a few years before retiring.

At the time that Les had sold Gardico and moved to Montana, Randy was making his own name in the gasket industry. He worked for a few companies in both Seattle and Spokane. By 2004, Randy had grown his family to 7 children, and began to have thoughts of setting out on his own journey in the gasket industry.

In the years 2004 and 2005, Randy and Les got together to form their own gasket company. They did so inside the small pizza shop of about 4000 square feet, and after 17 years, the company has now grown to over 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

Les retired shortly after opening the company with his son, and GOR Inc. is now run and operated by Randy. Les and Randy’s combined gasket experience reaches over 100 years combined, and with GOR Inc.’s current staff and production crew, its knowledge and expertise is unmatched.

GOR Inc began operations with only 3 employees (Les, Randy, and Rusty Wood), and has grown to almost 20 employees. Each has had experience in fields ranging from the forest service, logging, flooring, ministry, woodworking, and more.
